One of the highlights of today’s trip to RHS Rosemoor was seeing lots of plants swarming with butterflies, bees, hoverflies and other insects:
I don’t think there was anything particularly rare but we enjoyed their profusion. I also took note of which plants seemed particularly favoured. One which, unlike the Verbena above, I wasn’t familiar with was Escallonia bifida which could make it onto the list of plants I add to my new garden once I manage to make some room!
