Watching Paint Dry

This is more interesting than it sounds if you are using the “goes on pink, dries to white” paint I mentioned earlier this month. We have decided that the wallpaper will need a coat of paint to finish it off and I painted a small corner this morning as a test. It is almost finished now and produces a good white. What I discovered is that it also gives an insight into how paint dries; from the edges rather than necessarily from the first part painted. Perhaps not that surprising (the same applies to other drying patterns where colours have made water loss easily visible) but fascinating all the same.

Now to get on with the rest of the room!
