It is Bloom Day time again on Folia. What to contribute from my garden? I am spoilt for choice, as July is a month which sees numerous plants in full bloom, but I think I will choose this specimen of Hyssopus officinalis (hyssop), which is just beginning to flower.

I have a couple of rows of this plant in the back garden, which are a day or two behind this one. When their flowerbuds burst open, it should be a feast for the eyes (as well as a feast for the bees and other pollinating insects).
