I have been in Oxford for a few weeks now so it is about time I got round to playing with some other musicians again. Last night I visited Dave Seck, who is putting together a project called The Djinn, which he envisages as interweavings of spanish guitar, bass and percussion. We got on well, liked each other’s playing and plan to get together early in the New Year to make some more music.
Time to start working on some flamenco bass chops!
