This weekend I’ll be going over the Dartford Crossing twice so I’ve been looking up how to pay. It was nice to find that it wasn’t as expensive as I’d feared it might have become (in the 20+ years since I think I last used it) and that it seems I can pay in advance so I can set those two journeys up before I go rather than having to remember to sort it afterwards. I guess this means it has switched to ANPR (automatic number plate recognition)… yep, they were removed in 2014 so I’ve definitely not been that way for over 12 years.
