Today saw our first cucumber harvest of the year (from Cucumis sativus ‘Jogger F1’). While a decent size, this one was still a little way off being fully ready. Not far off though, certainly edible and much less watery than what is typically available in the shops. Looking at the plants in the polytunnel, I think there will be plenty more to come over the next few weeks.
