Today’s plan was that the builder would come round and plaster the ceiling of our “creative room”, thus hiding the damage done when I was boarding the loft a couple of years ago and got too creative with my footwork! Unfortunately he called in sick; he expects to be able to do it next Saturday, which is okay although does mean we have to live with the rest of the upstairs being rather cluttered for a whole week.

At least it has given the opportunity to get the rest of the wallpaper stripped off. We will probably move most of the stuff back while we wait for it to dry but then will be ready to get on with redecorating, so I need to make some time finalise plans and start assembling the necessary materials.
