I had to reach into my toolbox for cooking dinner yesterday and I don’t mean the gadget drawer in the kitchen. We had a leg of lamb but while carving some slices for dinner, we realised it was still a bit raw in the middle and decided to put it in the slow cooker to finish off. That would have been all well and good except the bone was too long, hence rummaging in the toolbox!
