Peppery Sandwiches


I came up with a new twist on cheese sandwiches yesterday. As well as lettuce, mayonnaise and the cheese (gruyère in this case), I added a twist of fresh-milled pepper. Perhaps it is not surprising that this gave a pleasant ‘pep’ to the resulting sandwich!

Home-made artisan bread too, of course, for the full gourmet experience.
