I’ve had a couple of moments this weekend when I found myself thinking “I should have brought my camera along”. I was at a fireworks party last night and the rain, which had persisted all afternoon, let up for the display. This afternoon we went over to the Horniman Museum with a friend and saw some spectacular cityscapes as the vantage point of the hill it sits on combined with the winter sun setting and a wonderful palette of blues and pinks.

It would have been excellent if I had my camera to hand; however, to put things in perspective, I’ve still got pictures waiting from a month ago so maybe it is just as well I didn’t add more to the queue!
