At last night’s ‘Teeth rehearsal, Pico passed on my copy of the recordings from Friday’s session with The Adrian Astor Quintet, which we both also play in. It isn’t breaking the boundaries of jazz and it isn’t entirely free from a few questionable notes but is, all in all, a very creditable little demo.

I will be listening more closely over the next few days (partly getting ready for the gig we have at Merton Abbey Mills in South London this coming Sunday) but have put one of the tracks up on my MySpace account for your listening pleasure – a short take on the classic Miles Davis tune, All Blues.
