A couple of months ago, I reported the demise of my bread machine but it looks like my post, like the celebrated obituary Twain wryly commented on, may have been a little presumptuous.

Fortunately we hadn’t disposed of it before we tried something else on the same extension lead. When that also played up we tried a different extension and thus my bread machine has been back to work and turning out a continuing succession of loaves.
