A couple of weeks ago, I blogged about how I’d emailed my MP, Bridget Prentice, about the case of Abdul Rahman (who was freed and who has subsequently been escaped to Italy). I got a letter back from her today; it doesn’t give a full and detailed response but it says she has passed the concern onto the appropriate section of the Foreign Office and will keep me up to date.
It is not a complete conclusion but at least things are moving along and, while she hasn’t answered all of my concerns, my MP at least seems to be dealing with the ongoing issues.
