‘Once everything arrives’ (see Polytunnel 2022) turned out to be this morning, while both Jane and I were out. When I got the delivery notification yesterday I rang up to see if it could be delayed. There were going to see if they could push it to Friday but it ended up coming today. The driver did ring and I gave permission for it to go on the drive… and then it started to rain.

Jane picked me up after my meeting and our first task on getting back was to get the pieces into the shed or existing polytunnel. Later on I did some sorting through and I think I’ve got everything I need so all is good. I’ve got a few things on tomorrow but it does mean that on Friday, instead of waiting in for the delivery, I can get on with construction of the fruit cage.
