One of the challenges of working in the shed is that the light fades quickly as dusk falls. If I’m out there, it either means downing tools as soon as I notice and leaving an unfinished mess or pressing on just a little further and trying to tidy up in the near dark.
At some point, we’ll get the shed wired for power. For now though, a simple expedient has been to pick up a small work light from Lidl. Running from a rechargeable battery, it casts ample light and I can make the last few cuts and get tidied without rushing. A bit more thought is needed about places to suspend the illumination but the purchase was definitely worthwhile.
