It has been a while since I posted any of my sketches – it’s not that I’ve not been keeping up the practice of sketching but I’ve fallen a bit behind on scanning and publishing the results. Here is one from mid-October, the last time I got to a jazz jam session at The Red Lion in Brightwell-cum-Sotwell:

What instrument is the guy in front playing? I think most would fairly easily peg it as a guitar, which is amazing when you consider just how little information the sketch actually provides in the way of line and shading.
