It felt like a journey and a half but, in truth, it wasn’t that bad and I’m now safely home. It probably didn’t help that it is Maundy Thursday so I imagine that there are a lot of people making trips for the long Easter weekend. All the legs of the journey were much busier than they were going the other way on Monday.

Still, got there in the end! Leiden is certainly a city I’d be glad to return to at some point in the future.
