After Lui Shou-kwan

Earlier this week, I went to a free exhibition of work by Chinese artist Lui Shou-kwan (1919 – 1975) at the Ashmolean. No photography is allowed in the exhibition but you are free to sketch. Here is my rendering of one of the pieces that particularly caught my eye, a view of a place called Victoria Park:

You can see more of Lui Shou-kwan’s online or, if you are near Oxford, the Ashmolean show runs until 7 April.
