An advantage of now working down in the centre of Oxford is that a wealth of wonderful cultural repositories and shopping emporiums are now within a lunchtime stroll. Today’s outing was to Cardews, a tea and coffee shop in the Covered Market.
A good selection and prices that aren’t too far off the shop I’ve previously used in Wallingford… although the tea was quite fine while the Wallingford one gives larger leaves. I won’t be abandoning the Wallingford shop entirely but I think I will be popping back to Cardews to sample a wider range of the teas and coffees they have on offer.
