Or, the neighbour of the beast. I’m down in Devon at the moment and, outside, the snow storms attributed to the ‘Beast from the East’ are making themselves known. The worst affected area in the region – subject of one of the Met Offices rare red warnings – is to the east of me. However, that  that does lie between me and Oxford!

Weather-wise, it is quite exciting in a way but I’m sure I’m not alone in looking forward to actual spring catching up with today’s official start of meteorological spring!
