I’ve had a busy old day. The morning was taken up with playing with the various stashes of firewood in the back garden – making room for the bits I picked up yesterday by moving older pieces and doing some processing to break medium sized pieces into small ones that will fit the burner and some of the large pieces into medium sized ones. The more the wood gets split down, the better it dries out and thus the better it burns.

This afternoon, I’ve been shopping and cooked dinner and then, this evening, I’ve been helping out with the youth group (both giving them some leading on the topic of leading worship and playing murder in the dark).

Tonight, consequently, I think I will sleep pretty well!
