Yesterday afternoon’s gig was another outside one and I took the Markbass Nano head I wrote about a couple of months ago. At the previous gig, I was only using my set up for onstage monitoring as there was a large PA set up. Yesterday, the bass amp was solely responsible for making me heard… and it was brilliant. I had plenty of power for a full bass tone and could have pushed it louder still apart from considerations like eardrums and hearing the rest of the band! I’m very pleased at that combination of power and portability; the head fits in the case I carry my leads and multi-FX pedal around in rather than being an extra unit to lug about. Hurrah for Class D amps!
