Gibraltar, a little bit of rock sticking into the Mediterranean from the bottom of Spain, has been in the news this week. The inhabitants hold it to be a little bit of Britain; the neighbours are far from convinced. Theresa May has declared that, as Brexit negotiations get underway, it will be jaw jaw and not war war but is that true?

It does seem crazy to consider that Britain and Spain could start armed hostilities over the territory but it has been a crazy couple of years. I suppose the question is how far back we are willing to go to recover our ‘cultural values’. These times are proving far too interesting!
