I had a creative session with Ableton last night, exploring how to integrate lines played on my bass with material from the clips library and also experimenting with creating and tweaking effects racks. The result is ‘Driftwood’:

It’s not quite to my satisfaction yet – if you listen through you’ll hear a few glitches (some ill-advised fiddling with loop quantisation to blame, I think). Still, it’s something. Maybe I should think about the RPM challenge this year?
