Just a week on and the Chamerion angustifolium (Rosebay Willowherb) leaves I harvested last weekend and left to dry on the windowsill have lost their pea pod flavour and are much tea-ish, for want of a better word. The plants will be setting seed soon so I probably should get on and harvest some more leaves to dry and store before my free supply of kaporie tea passes its best.
