At tonight’s PCC retreat at Stanton House near Oxford we had some time to wander in the grounds and reflect. I think this is my third visit to the venue so I deliberately chose to set off in a direction I haven’t previously explored.

Good choice. I discovered an unexpected vista of the countryside, a beautifully quiet spot and even a mirror with a poem on it. Yes, plenty to reflect on indeed.
