It is probably too late to issue a warning but local shops seem to be heaving. I popped into Sainsburys this morning to grab the last few things needed before Magnus arrives this evening and it was heaving. Never have I had to park so far away in the car park! Heavy rain didn’t help either. If I’d wanted an easy shopping trip today, I probably should have got out of the door before 8am rather than a couple of hours later.

Ah well… that’s hindsight for you!
