I racked up an impressive amount of service time yesterday, with a short event at Cowley Methodist, the East Oxford Churches Together walk of witness down Cowley Road, the afternoon vigil service at St Clement’s and then Franciscan stations of the cross at St Francis’s. Then, after dinner, we watched a couple of interesting documentaries from the “Religion and Ethics” section on the BBC’s iPlayer site, on Mary Magdalene and on comedy and religion. Phew! But then it is a good time of year to put aside time for different ways of considering what the gospel message and passion narrative is all about.
