For a keen musician I actually get to very few live music events at which I’m not playing (although the many opportunities I have enjoyed as part of a bigger bill have been fantastic). Tonight though is one of those rare evenings when I’m venturing out to a gig without a bass in tow, down to Gerrard’s Cross to see Sara Groves on her current UK tour.

I’ve enjoyed the recordings I have of her music so am very much looking forward to this opportunity to appreciate her voice and playing live.
