Back to work tomorrow after a week and a half of what I believe is popularly called a staycation. Rather than pay to travel somewhere and then pay to stay there, we based our time off on full bed and board at home. We fitted in some meals out, visits to friends and places of interest and (which wouldn’t be so easy on an away vacation) further work developing our garden. People travel great distances to visit Oxfordshire and surrounding areas so it makes sense to invest time in enjoying it ourselves.

I’ve had a sneak peak at my work email and, although there are quite a few little things to pick up, it doesn’t look like anything major has occurred since I was last in the office so I am looking forward to easing back into things tomorrow.
