As you would have noticed if you were anywhere round Oxfordshire yesterday, it turned out gorgeous in the end and my Wittfest afternoon was blessed with blue skies, a perfect summer day. My fingers got a bit of  a workout as my stage monitor volume was very low and I ended up playing pretty hard to hear myself (it dropped during the set, so I suspect the folks on the sound desk had it set so that monitor volume was linked to the main volume fader) but was apparently sufficiently audible out the front. All in all, a decent gig and certainly a wonderful setting for it.
