Yesterday’s 7 Days theme was “White”. I had planned a shot similar to the one I did for “Black” on Sunday but, since that took a different route from the one I planned, I decided to come up with some new ideas for this one, too.

I had the idea of putting myself against a large white background. The problem was finding a location to shoot. In the end, I decided to just do a head and shoulders shot rather than finding a space where I could show my full body and then expanded the background to create a large white square. A little gradient fill, to match the natural fall off of lighting in the original shot, completed the illusion of a much larger space than I really had to work with.
