We had the builders in today and they’ve done the major part of the work already — knocking the bathroom and toilet into one room. We are very pleased with the changed space; it feels much more roomy.

There is more work still to go (for example all the plastering to disguise the scars left by the alterations) but it has been a good start and we are looking forward to fully enjoying the completed work.
