That is my Twitterbadge, which shows my recent “tweets” (updates) via the Twitter site I mentioned last week.

I am toying with the idea of including a widget like this more permanently on the main page of my site. It does mean that I get yet more mileage from my updates, which is an easy way to show that I am alive and well even if too busy to make a fuller blog post. On the other hand, it is more information that needs to be grabbed in order for the page to build properly (which can slow things down, although I have a couple of ideas for working round that) and I’m not overly keen on using a Flash widget (slick but breaks my aim of keeping things simple and accessible).

While I ponder, there is always my RSS feed or, if you use twitter yourself, just sign up to follow my tweets and give me the pointer to your updates.
