This week I have not been taking daily self portraits but I have still managed to shoot on for my fiftytwo project, which takes me up to week 28.

I have been wanting to get my bass into a shot for some time. Making music, principally on bass, is such a fundamental part of my life that is probably mandatory for it to feature on several occasions and it is months since the last time it came up. I was working on some new jazz charts this week (you can see Joe Henderson’s Recorda-Me) and I used a wide aperture to put the focus on the music.
