I heard yesterday that Larry Norman, musician, pioneer, prophet and evangelist, passed away on Sunday. I used to listen to a lot of his music but, because most of what I have is on cassette, I haven’t played it for a while. He had suffered long-term health problems so his death was not unexpected and not altogether a tragedy. As he wrote, long ago, in the song Reader’s Digest, he was “… only visiting this planet” (on the Only Visiting This Planet album).
