While checking the Flickr site this morning, I came across . This one asks that you give it a reference to a set of your photos and it will plot the ones for which you’ve provided latitude and longitude on a map.
That doesn’t allow the easy discovery of other people’s pictures from places you’ve been but does provide a means for seeing where a particular group of photos came from. As an experiment, I went back to my set of pictures from last year’s walk down the Camino de Santiago and marked photos from a few easily identifiable points along the way. Take a look and you can now clearly see how our path wound across 100 miles of Spanish mountains; I’m really looking forward to getting back there this July!
