Last night was the youth service I mentioned last week. It was perhaps a bit ragged round the edges (I’m listening back to the recording of the music – it worked fine but I don’t think I’ll be releasing it as a live album).

However, all in all, I think it worked pretty well. There was a good range of people in the congregation – the regulars of the church (mainly on the older side) and lots of groups of young people from various places (including a cluster from my church – yay HGBC). I managed my little chunks of speaking without gabbling too much (although my material could definitely have done with a bit of trimming) and hopefully there will be a few people who remember the central concepts (about checking things out thoroughly and turning decisions into action) in the cold grey light of Monday morning!
