It isn’t just photography where having the right tools makes a big difference. I can see it in all sorts of areas I am interested in, such as painting, music and woodwork. Woodwork? That isn’t a consuming interest although I’ve been watching a lot of YouTube videos on the subject recently. I’ve got a bookshelf to build and I think the tool I need to cut the slots and add a good finish is a router.

Now I just need to work out the right balance of features and cost and then I can get on with the job!
