Visiting RHS Rosemoor today, I took the time to sketch a cherry tree:

With the buzzing bees
In the perfumed shelter of
The spring cherry trees

That isn’t the most profound haiku ever, but it follows the western syllabic schema and has a hint of seasonality. It also explains the aural landscape of buzzing bees that I enjoyed on this, unseasonably warm February day.
