I hadn’t realised how much slower travelling by bus would be compared the nimble bicycle. Door to door journey time this morning was about three times slower than my regular time and, although coming back was faster, it still was about twice as long.

I might see if I can get out of the house earlier tomorrow, when I repeat the experience, and then I’ll get my bike sorted out on Friday.

Still, I have been able to get a lot of reading done!
