We drove up to Lincoln on Christmas Day and it was pretty easy going although the roads weren’t quite as deserted as I expected. Mind you, coming back today, they weren’t deserted at all; my guess is that there was probably more traffic than you’d normally expect early afternoon on a Thursday.

Fortunately no more long drives for a little while now.
