This week, I’ve been continuing to enjoy Penny Woolcock: Fantastic Cities at Modern Art Oxford. After the picture I shared on Monday, I went back to watch some more yesterday. There was a piece contrasting wealth and poverty in Hollywood and then, closer to home, two shorter films presenting Oxford as either a place of academic establishment or urban deprivation (designed with the same type of contrast in mind).
I know I said it runs until March but I’m going to pop back again today to view one or two more pieces. That will probably do me for now but means I have the option of returning for further reflection on any of them next year.
