Before September recedes too far into the rear-view mirror, I ought to post the latest in my series of garden shots, taken a week ago:

The mood is definitely getting autumnal. You can’t quite see the crispness of the air or the shortness of the days but you can make out the colour changes and shedding of leaves that marks the turning season in the garden.
