Can you see the flaw with my latest beer label? It was only when I was sticking it on the bottles that I spotted that I’d put the date as 2016! Since this will be consumed at home, I think I can live with that. I don’t think this batch will stick around for year or more! At least the ink didn’t run; this was my first batch of labels since getting an inkjet printer at home but they seem to have held as I pasted a thin layer of milk across the back and stuck them on.

The image is a Hamemelis x intermedia ‘Diane’ which I photographed at RHS Rosemoor at the end of 2016… I think I can see where my subconscious was led astray!
