I’ve got my Autumn Saison bottled, which was a slightly frustrating process as some of the small bottles I had saved proved to resist the process of fixing on crown corks. On the other hand, I did manage to end up with about 5.3l bottled compared to 4.3l last time, despite resisting the temptation to drain all the way down to the bottom and ending up with two full glasses of new beer to drink with dinner tonight. All that remains is to wait 3-4 weeks and I can see how this batch ends up.

Meanwhile, what recipe shall I try next? Probably not another saison but perhaps some kind of straightforward ale or perhaps a rich stout for Christmas?
