This is a ‘does what it says on the tin’ post with a photo of something made from old metal from a recent visit to the National Trust site of Finch Foundry in Devon. Sorry – I’ve absolutely no idea what it is. Fascinating place though but the included guided tour is a must to understand the place; it is a relatively small site but I imagine the potential dangers of heavy metal (there’s an out of context quotable phrase) mean they can’t let you wander everywhere unattended.

I probably won’t count this for my 52photos project although I reserve the right to come back and edit my decision!
