Literally:
My new USB endoscope arrived yesterday – a thin 6″ wand with a small camera surrounded by LED lights at one end and a focus adjustment and USB cable at the other. In this shot, I’ve attached a protective sleeve at the end and then been unable to resist the temptation to look up the inside of my nose. I’m not sure exactly what degree of magnification I’m able to achieve but a quick test suggested I could focus on something about 2-3mm wide and fill the screen, which is at least as close as I got in the past by balancing three lenses and certainly a lot more easy to manage.
Anyway, if you ever wanted to get up my nose, consider that ambition fulfilled. Meanwhile, I’ll count this towards my 52photos project.
