Yep, the old sound receivers still aren’t quite back to full operation although it is definitely my left ear which is most problematic now while the right one is pretty much back to normal. I’ve got a gig tonight though (Jolly Anglers, Reading – from 8:45pm) and another tomorrow (Red Lion, Brightwell cum Sotwell – from 7pm) so time to find out how playing by (mainly one) ear works out in a live jazz context!
