A few hours ago saw the perigee-syzygy of the Earth–Moon–Sun system, more commonly known as the biggest supermoon in a generation. It was the closest the Moon has come to the Earth since 1948 and it won’t swing quite as near again until 2034. Oh, and thick cloud cover means I can’t see it at all.

Maybe tomorrow will be clearer? The moon will still be pretty close and it’s orbit causes it to swing in out regularly even if not quite as near for a long time to come. For those of you with cloudless skies, enjoy!
